Initiées en 2017 dans le cadre du Cully Jazz Festival, les Gypsy Jazz Sessions présentent, dans des formations inédites, la jeune génération du swing gitan. Réunis par le violoniste Baiju Bhatt, des musicien·ne·s de Suisse et de Paris, vous invitent à les rejoindre sur scène pour "faire le bœuf ". Une ambiance chaleureuse et spontanée pour célébrer, au son magique du jazz manouche, la Fondation Bibliomedia ! La nouvelle Comédie de Genève ouvre ses portes en février 2021. Vous êtes impatients ? Envie d'un avant-goût ? C'est possible, du 2 au 12 septembre, avec "La Comédie virtuelle", du chorégraphe genevois Gilles Jobin, qui sera en compétition à la 77e Mostra de Venise – Venice VR Expanded.
" Au moyen de casques de réalité virtuelle, Gilles Jobin ne se contente pas du « waouh » de la prouesse technologique et invente un véritable langage, faisant de cette découverte immersive du nouveau bâtiment de la Comédie une œuvre à part entière, où tout est possible. Même de faire flotter cette nouvelle maison du théâtre dans l’espace ! "

The new Comédie de Genève will open its doors in February 2021. Are you impatient? Do you want to get a sneak peek? You can do so from the 2 to 12 September, with "La Comédie virtuelle" by Geneva choreographer Gilles Jobin, who will be competing at the 77th Venice Mostra - Venice VR Expanded.
"Using virtual reality headsets, Gilles Jobin doesn’t stop at the "wow" factor of the technological prowess and invents an actual language. He manages to turn the immersive discovery of the Comédie's new building into a work in its own right; where anything is possible...as seeing the theater float in space!"
