Serhii Andrusenko is a Ukrainian linguist, educator, and researcher who has been living and working in Switzerland for over a decade.
He knows firsthand what it means to start over in a new linguistic environment, face communication barriers, and adapt without losing one’s identity.
When Serhii arrived in Switzerland, he wasn’t new to languages. He already spoke Ukrainian, Russian, English, and French. He had years of teaching experience, academic degrees, and conferences behind him. But everything changed the moment he found himself outside the classroom—in a local pharmacy, at a parent–teacher meeting, or during a medical appointment.
“There was no time to think about conjugations. You had to understand and be understood—right away. Without memorizing. Without preparation,” he recalls.
This experience transformed his understanding of language learning. That’s how andrusenko.pro was born—not as another course, but as a living system: adaptive, flexible, and rooted in real life. Today, the academy helps professionals across Switzerland not just “learn” French, English, or German, but truly speak it—in the office, at appointments, and with friends.
“We don’t just teach language. We retrain the brain’s speech patterns—so it starts making decisions in the new language on its own,” says Serhii.
At the heart of his method is a combination of neurolinguistic reprogramming, speech motor skills, emotional anchors, and real-life simulations. Every lesson is a mini brain workout. And the teacher isn’t just a source of knowledge—they are a moderator, a navigator, and an interpreter of subtle signals.
Serhii didn’t start with a formula—he started with a question: Why do so many people spend years “learning a language” and still struggle to speak, despite countless apps, courses, and intensives?
The answer went deeper than expected. It lies in neurophysiology, cognitive overload, and emotional blocks, especially common among adults and migrants. Serhii realized that language should not just be taught—it must be reactivated in the brain as a capacity for real action.
“We don’t teach phrases—we teach people not to be afraid to speak. And that makes all the difference.”
This approach became the foundation for his NeuroÉlan Method, which focuses on speech activation, emotional imprinting, and scenario-based practice—without memorization. From the first session, students start speaking—not with scripted dialogues, but about their own lives.
More than 2,000 students have completed training with this method—professionals from both the humanities and tech backgrounds, employees of international organizations, healthcare workers, educators, parents, and newcomers from Ukraine with protection status, as well as Swiss residents studying for career development.
The method is not only used in practice—it is also part of Serhii’s DBA/PhD dissertation at the Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva (SSBM) and is under academic guidance from the Bern University of Applied Sciences. The academy is an associate member of ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe), and its certification aligns with CEFR standards, while also including oral assessments and a neuro-profile of student progress.
“AI is a library. A teacher is energy.”
The academy uses a Human-Centered EdTech hybrid model, where AI doesn’t replace the teacher—it empowers them.
AI assists in selecting materials, tracking progress, and adjusting the pace and content
The teacher remains the core—moderating thought, interpreting weak signals, and motivating learners
This approach allows busy adults—professionals, parents, newcomers—to learn in sync with their real-life rhythm, without cognitive overload or irrelevant textbook exercises. Lessons are held online, at flexible times, with personalized feedback and oral progress tracking.
Since the beginning of the war, the academy has developed dedicated learning paths for people with protection status (S status)—who face unique challenges in adapting, speaking, and overcoming emotional barriers.
“I’m from Ukraine. I know what it means to lose your footing, to start from zero, and to constantly hear: ‘Wait, your diploma isn’t recognized here. Your language isn’t understood.’ That’s why I created learning paths that give people their voice back.”
These tailored modules in French and German (levels A1–B2) include flexible payment options, career orientation, support with language exams, and real-life workplace integration.
Serhii is preparing a free course titled “Neurohacking Language Learning in the Age of AI”, designed for adults who want to understand how memory, focus, and motivation work—especially under pressure.
This fall, the academy will also launch a new flagship program: “French, English & German for Professionals”, combining neurolinguistics, AI, and real-life practice—with CEFR-aligned certification.
“Language isn’t just a skill. It’s participation. It’s access. It’s your way of being part of society. And the sooner you start speaking—the sooner you become yourself again.”
