The 11th edition of the popular exposition Les Automnales will take place at Palexpo from the 8th-17th November. Different expositions will be open in parallel and there is certainly something for everyone.
Weddings, family planning and food and drinks
If you are planning a wedding for yourself or someone else, a visit to the Salon de Mariage is a must to meet possible suppliers and get new ideas for the event. Maybe you have passed this step already and are in the family planning stage? Then the Salon Bébé et Moi is more relevant. Whether you are planning, expecting or have just started a family, the expo offers you a chance to meet maternity and infancy professionals, partake in workshops and conferences as well as visit factory outlets offering a wide choice of products.
For the “bon vivant”, the annual Arvinis Salon Suisse du Vin will take place at Les Automnales this year. You will have a chance to discover quality Swiss wine producers from various regions. There will also be tasting workshops and thematic tours accompanied by sommeliers.
New this year at Automnales is the Cook’n’ Show. This gourmet space will celebrate gastronomy by highlighting current food trends and promoting sustainability and much more. Sports, culture and cats and dogs
For the sporty crowd, and those who enjoy activities and movement, there are multiple opportunities to discover and try something new. You can enter the 10-kilometer de Palexpo race with a partner, which will be held inside the Palexpo building. Or you can visit the Salon l’art du mouvement where they will celebrate sport in all its forms from all corners of the world. This will be done with classes, shows and demonstrations.
There will also be an opportunity to discover the rich Japanese pop culture and traditional culture at Japan Cosplay. Video games and dance will be in the spotlight this year with the presence of many “gamers.”
For the first time in their history, Les Automnales will welcome a guest of honour: the Department of Var. You will discover the wealth, heritage, know-how, traditions, terroir and the products of this Southern French region.
Thousands of dogs will gather at Palexpo this year again for the largest dog show in the country. Some 200 breeds from 31 countries will participate at the Exposition Canine Internationale. In parallel, the Exposition Féline Internationale will also take place and around 1,000 cats are expected to participate in the legendary parade. Two hundred breeders will be present during the two days as well. Rest assured that there will be plenty of events for the furry friends and opportunities to do some shopping for them.
Indoor, outdoor, mountain, water and air activities
If you are interested in outdoor activities in nature, the Salon Nautique du Léman will anchor their exposition again at Les Automnales. You will find everything from how to repair your sailboat, information about the latest boat models as well as the opportunity to meet Colin Pesson, the Genevois who, at the age of 17, swam from one end of Lake Geneva to the other in 28 hours.
The Salon de la Montange is also an exposition of outdoor activities where you can discover and learn more about sports such as skiing, climbing, speleology, slacklining and more.
During the duration of Les Automnales, you will have the opportunity to buy new and used army attire and camping equipment for unbeatable prices at the Stock Armée.

Honorary guest and children's expo
Over 1,000 square meters of space is dedicated to HUG (Hôpitaux Universitaires Genève). Every day HUG will introduce a different topic with interactive activities, lots of children's workshops plus the opportunity to meet health professionals. The exhibition is focused on health information and illness prevention, and general information about the hospital.
There will also be a space dedicated to the young ones from 4 to 12 years. The Expo Juniors will be a haven for kids with a packed schedule of joyful and wonderful shows, exciting events and stimulating activities.
