From February 10-12 2016, the Lift Conference will take place in Geneva. As the Centre International de Conférence de Genève has been the home of the conference over the past 10 years, the venue is looking forward to welcoming this event.
LIFT is an event based on digital technologies and innovative projects. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part and assist in workshops, talks, networking with other participants and meeting extraordinary entrepreneurs.
Over three days, local entities such as RTS, CERN, the University of Geneva, and startup companies like Seedspace and Pangloss Labs will open their doors to LIFT participants and let them learn more about their projects through workshops.
Every day, “lifters” will have the chance to speak with other participants and entrepreneurs during lunches and the traditional fondue held on Thursday evening.
Among the different hot topics, conference-goers will have the opportunity to learn more about the blockchain, the technology behind the digital payment system bitcoin. Stephan Tula, founder and COO of Slock.it, Primavera De Filippi, a permanent researcher at the National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS) in Paris and Joseph Lubin, founder of Consensus Systems (ConsenSys) and Ethereum, will share their experiences and perspectives for this relatively new breakthrough in technology.
Headliners for another main subject will be Alex Lebrun, Head of Wit.ai at Facebook, Henri Bergius, VP Engineering at The Grid, Min Li Marti, Member of the Swiss Parliament, and Silviu Andrica, Co-Founder at Nowy, who will address the question “Artificial Intelligence: Technology without Alternative?”
Other sessions include “The Wild Promises of the Digital Customer Experience", “Enter the Anti-Disciplinary Space”, “From Digital Transition to Ecological Resilience”, and “Making Sense of Technology”.
For fans of innovation and technology, this is the ultimate chance to get inspired.
