It does not matter whether you are a sponsor, a manager, part of the media or simply someone who loves to be up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the Swiss sports industry. sport.forum.schweiz, Switzerland’s most prestigious and biggest sports business event, offers networking opportunities and discussions on a wide variety of sports-related topics during its 19th edition in Lucerne on November 14th and 15th, 2013.

Topic diversity & expert knowledge over two days

Like last year, the first day will be held at the KKL Lucerne (Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Luzern). In addition to the sport.forum.schweiz, hosted on the main-stage, five other special-interest forums will also be held:

- fan.marketing.forum

- crm.sourcing.forum

- brand.management.forum

- responsibility.forum

- sport.media.forum

The "Europäische Sponsoring-Börse", based in St. Gallen, is the official host of this annual get-together. As host, the ESB decided to stick with the sport.media.forum and the responsibility.forum as the two main forum areas, since both are rapidly evolving and appeal to a large general public. The three new focal points, the fan.marketing.forum, the crm.sourcing.forum and the brand.management.forum have been introduced to make sure that all relevant and current issues which are important to sponsors, media and all types of people involved in the sports industry are covered.

Carré Event Night 2013 & Breakfast Session

At the end of the first day of the event, decision-makers such as sponsors, media, organizations, clubs, suppliers and agencies gather to discuss, network and exchange valuable information at Switzerland’s biggest networking platform, Carré Event Night 2013 by art on ice. Formerly known as the Sports Night, the Carré Event AG hosts this get-together for the first time at the Hotel Schweizerhof in Lucerne, starting at 18:30 on ThursdayNovember 14th.

The following morning (Friday November 15th) offers a relaxed wrap up of the sport.forum.schweiz 2013 with its third consecutive Breakfast Session, also held at the Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne. From 8:00 am onwards, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a breakfast buffet and to listen to lectures from well-known companies involved in sports sponsoring, such as TalkEasy, ERDINGER Alkoholfrei, National Suisse and others.

New attendance record?

One man is particularly proud of the achievements of the ESB, especially the diversity of subjects covered at Switzerland’s biggest sports gathering:

"Sport.forum.schweiz is the meeting-point of the professional sports-business in Switzerland. We offer a great set of topics such as sponsorship strategies and testimonial marketing, but also fan marketing, merchandising and social media. Like last year, we expect almost 500 participants of which roughly 50% are marketing executives and sponsors. And who knows, maybe we will see a new attendance record- that would be fantastic", said ESB CEO Hans-Willy Brockes.
